“Reminder”
Digital print on rug, 5’

“Reminder” is inspired by a popular scene from the 90's children's show The Big Comfy Couch. The clock rug from the show in “Reminder” is a symbol of passing time, representing sentimental feelings from childhood. The main character Loonette is edited in the form of Leonardo da Vinci's, “The Vitruvian Man.” This depiction of Loonette relates to human existence and purpose in the world, as what “The Vitruvian Man” applies to. This brings up conversations on time, life, and death.
