“Betrayed”
Graphite and colored pencil, 27” x 27”

“Betrayed” is a drawing of a young girl who lost her mother at the age of 7. No one stepped up to rescue her grief, her soul, or her person. The roses symbolize her innocence and vulnerability in a life of betrayal.
